  • Pharmacology and safe medication management
  • Public health, disease surveillance, and health promotion
  • Clinical placements in real community health settings

The three years are structured to build competence progressively  from foundational clinical knowledge in year one to increasing clinical autonomy and patient management by year three.

What Graduates Do After Completing the Programme

  • Sit the Kenya Nursing Council licensing examinations
  • Register as a Community Health Nurse with the KNC
  • Enter employment in public health, NGO, private healthcare, or corporate health sectors
  • Begin the international registration pathway to Australia, the UK, Canada, or the Gulf states
  • Progress to post-basic specialisation or nursing upgrading programmes

Study Mode

This is a full-time programme. Classes are held at the Auscare International College campus in Mombasa, with clinical placements at approved community and facility sites. If you are currently employed, speak to the admissions team about the timetable before assuming full-time study is incompatible with your situation, many students manage a transition plan before the programme begins.

The One Thing to Do Today

Not next week. Not after the next thing on your list is sorted. Today; call or visit the admissions office and confirm the next intake date, then begin gathering your documents.

Every community health nurse working in Kenya right now was once sitting exactly where you are; undecided, still calculating. They enrolled. The career they have built started with a single conversation with an admissions office.
