This qualification reflects the roles of community services, case management and social housing workers. Our students have gone on to be involved in the managing, co-ordinating and/or delivering of person-centred services to individuals, groups and communities.
Our graduates have specialised skills in community services. They have developed the skills to work autonomously under broad directions from senior management. They provide direct support to individuals or groups. Diploma graduates may also have responsibility for the supervision of other workers and volunteers. They are well suited to case management, program coordination and the development of new business opportunities.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of units of competency, in accordance with Auscare best practices.

Admission Criteria
- All students must be 18 +
- To enrol in Certificate III you will need to have completed Form 4 or higher qualifications
- Fluent in English
- You will need to complete 120 hours of practical work (attachment)
